CENTRAL HOSPITAL STERILE SERVICES DEPARTMENT (CSSD)
The practice has extensive knowledge and experience of CSSD facilities upgrade and design.
We are presently undertaking a programme of upgrading for the CSSD facilities at all Spire Healthcare Hospitals.

We have worked with B Braun on their Leeds, Bradford Pathfinder Project and Pan Birmingham Project which comprises the construction of super decontamination centres. These facilities are now fully operational and provide a service to a number of general hospitals.

We have undertaken full design duties for a £4.5 Million decontamination facility in London for Indemed Managed Services. The centre being designed to service a minimum of 6 private hospitals.

Current projects include a number of units for Spire Healthcare.

BLACKROCK CLINIC DUBLIN
Extensive refurbishment of the Clinic including Operating theatres, ICU and Wards

HARLEY STREET CLINIC - Grade II Listed Buildings
We undertook the refurbishment / fitout of the CSSD and operating theatres in the main building.
New pathology laboratories in Winpole Street with all associated services.
New imaging centre on four floors including scanners and a consulting room with a Robert Adam ceiling.

major works to accommodate an Oncology centre with linear accelerators contained in concrete/steel bunkers, specialist ancillary rooms and a range of treatment and consulting rooms.

MANCHESTER ROYAL INFIRMARY CLINICAL SCIENCE BUILDING
A complex building including pathology and containment laboratories.

SPIRE HEALTHCARE (FORMERLY BUPA)
Projects throughout the UK including operating theatres, CSSD’s, MRI scanners and plant replacement.

LONDON CLINIC DEVONSHIRE PLACE
A Grade II listed building. We have undertaken a number of operating theatre refurbishments for which we were lead consultant.
We are currently involved in the phased refurbishment of the bedrooms.

Healthcare Projects

Projects undertaken include ward upgrades, new theatres, linear accelerators, MRI scanners, CT scanners, infectious disease units, education centres, Clinical Science Buildings, Blood Products Centres and Specialist Care Homes.

We have been able to bring a fresh approach to healthcare design. The project management experience we gained in large fast track office fitouts has been applied to undertaking difficult specialist healthcare projects. X-Ray departments, A&E department operating theatres and CSSD departments have been completed within extremely tight programmes, some of only 6 weeks duration.
