LABORATORIES
The design of laboratories and labsearch facilities involves close liaison with the client and design team to minimise contamination and provide a safe, pleasant, efficient environment for staff who may be handling dangerous chemicals or working with samples which require the containment of pathogens or viruses.
Past projects include the Clinical Sciences Building and the Clinical labsearch Centre for Wellcome Trust, both at the Manchester Royal Infirmary and Molecular Sciences laboratory for the University of Manchester. Various labsearch facilities and a clean room for the University of Wales, Bangor. An Infectious Disease Unit and Cat 3 laboratory at the Royal Liverpool Hospital and various blood product laboratories for the National Blood Service.
