We have been involved in residential projects in excess of 10 years and undertaken projects for clients such as the Salvation Army
throughout the UK and Scotland. The majority of these projects have been in excess of 100 rooms.
We therefore understand the infrastructure requirements and the problems involved in working in a large number of apartments at once.
The infrastructure needs for large apartment blocks are significant and may involved new electrical sub stations and due to water
supply pressure problems central water storage/booster pump sets.
Our duties can therefore vary from performance design and schematic drawings for multiple blocks on a site such as have
been undertaken for Wimpy Homes, through to the full infrastructure design and design and services for luxury apartments.
With the changes to Part L Building Regulations, the choice of fuel for an apartment is critical if the project is to achieve compliance.
We are therefore now generally involved at an earlier stage of a project. Particularly if there is a requirement to achieve renewable energy targets.
We are currently working on a number of residential projects for the Salvation Army.
